About the Workshop Leader

Enrica McMillon began working with wool as a young child at her grandmother's side. Since then, she has spent her life in West Virginia creating art from natural materials. From dyeing and spinning her own wool to kitting intricate Aran sweaters and using complex color patterning, Enrica transforms wool into art. When she began needle felting, Enrica took the craft to a new level, creating pieces with such fine detail and notable personality that they have earned awards such as the Jurors' Merit Award at the Three Rivers Arts Festival. Her work can be found in West Virginia at MountainMade in Thomas and Tamarack in Beckley, as well as in households around the world.
